N. S. Xavier, M.D. is a psychiatrist who recently retired after practicing in the U.S. since 1979. He has authored three books on religion and psychiatry and received endorsements from experts in these fields and two Nobel Peace Winners, and blessings from Pope Francis. Also, he has produced two documentaries: first
The World's Most Enlightening Region
and second
Harmony Beyond Belief: Two Religions, One Spirit.

The first documentary is about 2000 years' ongoing interfaith harmony and peaceful transformation of extremism using conscience in a region in Kerala, India.

The film being shown at the Parliament of the World's Religions in Salt Lake City, Utah, on October 17th, 2015.

The film was shown on Alabama Public Television on December 29th and 31st, 2017, and al.com published articles on the film on March 4th and December 29th, 2017.

The second film was put on YouTube on the International Day of Peace on September 21st, 2018, showing details of the Hindu-Muslim harmony in Erumeli, a town in Kerala, highlighted by their unique joint celebrations.
